Spaghetti Newspaper

 

Al peggio non c'e' mai limite. Sappiamo tutti quanto siano poco professionali e di bassa qualità i giornali italiani, ma qua stiamo cadendo nel ridicolo.

Il Corriere della Sera ha infatti pubblicato in prima pagina un articolo sulla morte del nostro reporter Simone Camilli mettendo la foto di un altro collega vivo e vegeto, che in questo momento stara' ancora toccando ferro.

Come è possibile avere commesso un cosi' grave errore? Sicuramente la sufficienza con cui vengono gestite le informazioni nei quotidiani, sopratutto le fotografie sono da sempre trattate come semplici oggetti grafici per abbellire le pagine, senza mettere uno straccio di credenziali o verificarne la correttezza, come dimostra quest'ultimo eclatante caso.

Se n'e' accorto per primo Marco Longari, un giornalista AFP, che sulla sua pagina Facebook ha scritto:

“Al Corriere non hanno verificato la fonte. Al Corriere, che riceve le grandi agenzie internazionali, non sono stati capaci di digitare il nome di Simone in un search box. Ecco. Venitemi a raccontare altro adesso”.

Che figuraccia!

We all know how unprofessional and low quality Italian newspapers are, but here we are falling into silliness.

The Corriere della Sera published on its front page an article about the death of the Italian reporter Simone Camilli showing a picture of another colleague, alive and kicking, who at the moment would be touching wood.
How was it possible to make such a bad mistake? 

For sure, because of the "easy" way information is managed by our newspapers, especially pictures, always used as basic graphic objects just to decorate the pages, omitting the credits or missing neglecting to check the accuracy, as showed by this last striking case.

It was noticed by Marco Longari, an AFP journalist, who wrote in his Facebook page – At the Corriere they did not check the source. At the Corriere, that works with the great international agencies, they were not able to type Simone's name in a search box. That’s it. 

 

What a shame!
