Cheese!

Sorridere davanti alla macchina fotografica è diventata ormai un'abitudine e spesso sconfina nelle smorfie con le labbra a papera che ultimamente dilagano in rete.
 

Eppure una volta farsi ritrarre sorridenti era considerato disdicevole perchè veniva associato ai poveri, agli osceni o gli ubriachi.
Ecco perchè anche persone famose per il loro umorismo come Abraham Lincoln o Mark Twain si fecero ritrarre con un'espressione molto seria.

Smiling in front of the camera is normal for us and it often exeeds to duck faces spreading through out the net.
 

But in the past it was considered improper to get portraied while smiling because it was linked to poor, indecent or drunk people.
That is why even people famous for their humor like Abraham Lincoln or Mark Twain got portraied with a very serious face.
