Phishing per fotografi

 

Ultimamente stanno girando diverse mail che propongono lavori per fotografi all'apparenza allettanti ma, se guardati bene, un pochino sospetti. Le caratteristiche comuni sono sempre l'urgenza, che quindi potrebbe far passare in secondo piano le regole piu' banali di cautela, e la lingua diversa da quella dei destinatari (in questo caso l'inglese) che introduce dei dubbi sulla nostra padronanza della stessa e ci porta ad essere piu' "disponibili".

Iniziamo col primo esempio: un tale "reverendo Bill" organizza gitarelle nella nostra città (ma quale citta'?) e vorrebbe che un fotografo professionista lo seguisse per fare un bel reportage e poi essere pagato. Analizzando bene i dettagli della mail qualcosa pero' non va, del tipo, il mittente scrive da un indirizzo che in "reply to" e' diverso dalla sua firma "rev Bill" e non scrive a noi e basta ma ad una lista di destinatari tenuta ben nascosta (ragioni di privacy, si sa').
Se gli si risponde, lui dice, ci verra' subito fornito il suo numero di carta di credito per un fantomatico acconto....povero il nostro reverendo ingenuo, non sa che in Italia siamo tutti brutti e cattivi?

Nel secondo esempio invece la cosa è piu' subdola: un tale Jeff Smith di un'agenzia di modelle londinese organizza un fantomatico evento di moda per il quale non ha fatto pubblicita' apposta per vedere come funzionera' (e se funziona come lo fanno sapere alla gente?), quindi dice che il compeso per un fotografo sara' di oltre novemila sterline, che tutte le spese sono a carico loro, dal volo all'albergo in centro e che se siamo interessati dobbiamo dargli i nostri dati in modo che lui possa mandarci il biglietto aereo....ah! dimenticavo, bisogna solo pagare delle tasse di 199 sterline per avere tutto incluso!
Poi il nostro Jeff Smith dimentica di modificare il suo indirizzo e-mail e lascia un misterioso Jeff Simson come mittente. Strano vero?

State all'occhio quindi e leggete sempre tutto con attenzione prima di rispondere o mandare i vostri dati con leggerezza perche' spesso dietro a proposte allettanti si cela una truffa in piena regola.

I have a group of people coming to your town for a tour and i want you to cover this tour based on your expertise in the feild of photography.
 
They are 10 in number and the period of work is 3hrs every day on their outings, they will also take you in their vehicle so all i need is for you to confirm the availability of you to cover this event for 10days.

This would give you opportunities to show your talents and equally expose you to big Modeling Agencies and Art Firms that would be present.   
    MODELS, DANCERS, ACTORS, ACTRESSES and PHOTOGRAPHERS would be paid a total sum respectively;
Model- £10,200.
Dancers-  £8,310.
Actors and Actresses- £20,010.
Photographers- £9,140.
  
     All Travel Expenses, Food and Accommodations/Hotel to the Fashion Show would be covered by We Select Models Agency. MODELS, DANCERS, ACTORS, ACTRESSES and PHOTOGRAPHERS are required to pay a compulsory "Expo Reimbursed Fee" of £199 (Note this is not an upfront payment but a Fee made compulsory for this Expo to make it Tax Free and no additional Charges would be required of any sort or reimbursed).
